Very good pho in the area. As others have already said, the sizes are legit. So a large is REALLY big. I got a small and it was probably a normal size bowl at other restaurants!
What I like here is that it's no-frills: you order your food, the server brings it over and doesn't bother you for the rest of your meal, and you go up and pay at the counter when you're done. Nice and easy, as it should be. The pho is good as well: no skimping out on meats, no wilted veggies.
A solid bowl of noodle soup! Will certainly be returning. -

Was in town on business and was looking for pho. Saigon Pho was located in a dated strip mall and the restaurant was very clean. Ordered my pho and was disappointed as the broth was very bland for my taste. However it was loaded with meat just wish the broth was better.
Do not think I would go back. -

An amazing Vietnamese restaurant and dinner last night here in Raleigh, NC, while on a business trip from San Diego.
My business partner is fighting a cold and has been coughing and sneezing and I felt he should have some soup for dinner and using YELP, found this AMAZING (Level 5 amazing) Vietnamese restaurant, Saigon Pho.
It is located in a non-descrip, Asian strip mall, perhaps not notable at all, BUT, . . . . . . the food is probably some of the best Vietnamese pho I have ever had - and I have spent considerable time in Asia and Vietnam. The quality of the broth and the quality of the meats were exceptional and memorable. And their Jasmine tea, a blend of a tea bag and loose leaves was really wonderful!
I will be back here!! -

After eating here, Saigon Pho has become my top pho restaurant in the Triangle. Their beef pho broth is outstanding - full flavored, balanced, and well developed.
We ordered three things here. The classic beef pho tai had that amazing broth, perfectly al dente noodles and tender beef slices. There wasn't a drop left!
We also ordered 2 Banh Mi sandwiches, pork and beef. Both were served warm on toasted baguettes. The pork was the better one, nicely grilled and flavorful. The beef was sautéed with pate so it was too moist and soft for me, sort of like stew meat. But it was tasty.
The duck noodle soup is not on the printed menu so you have to request it but it is a home run - delicious, crispy, flavorful and satisfying. While the duck is fried instead of being just roasted, the Hong Kong style noodles pair perfectly with it. A winner!
Saigon Pho is casual but clean, and you can order the pho in small, med, or large sizes. Service was great and our water was refilled. If you like pho definitely come eat here!!
